Chester Dog Park

Chester Dog Park offers separate fenced areas for both large and small dog breeds, providing ample space for dogs to run and explore. The park features fresh water access through bowls and a water spicket, picnic tables, seating areas both inside and outside the fenced dog areas, and is wheelchair accessible with designated parking. There is also an obstacle course (currently not fully open) and a playground for children, making it a great spot for families. Some concerns include fencing gaps in the agility area and the presence of a dead tree that may need removal. Overall, it is a welcoming and natural environment for dogs and their owners.

This park is great. Different from other parks I’ve been too. It Utilizes the natural surroundings of the woods to allow your friends to explore and sniff new scents. They have a obstacle course and two different areas for large and small breeds. My boi’s love this place. If you don’t have water no worries they have a water supply and bowls. Even has a seating area in and outside if the fence. Only getting 4 stars because the obsticle course isn’t open yet.. Great park with ample space for the dogs to run. It even has a water pump for clean fresh water. There’s an agility and small breed park adjacent to the large dog park.

What idiot designed this park??? After a long day of driving on I95 we found this park not too far from the highway where we could give our 3 dogs a break. The small dog side as well as the agility course have HUGE gaps in the fence. All 3 of our dogs could easily fit through, even our 20 lb Jack Russell mix. The one gap had a trash can blocking it but the other was open. And even the trash can wasn’t doing a great job, I would still be afraid of them getting through. A dog park where you cannot safely let your dogs off the leash is pointless. If you have a larger dog it wouldn’t be a concern.

My dog had a great time and found another dog just his size. Only complaint was younger owners not watching or being obedient with their dog that pooped and peed on other dogs and even bit my dog. Had to go in another pen. Gratefully did because my dog found a dog just his size and had to wonderful time and met a great couple to chat with. Will diffiantly go back. Lots of water bowls and a spicket to provide fresh water and plenty of tennis ball to throw.

Chester Dog Park is a nice place to bring your best friend. There are separate areas for large/small breeds. Access to water also. The only thing is there is a dead tree in the area I believe should be removed before there is a incident.
