This place is amazing! It’s hard to believe what the owner does for these wolves, and how he saves them from their demise.
His and his volunteers are much appreciated!
Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about his wolves. Every wolf there is well taken care of, and I had an enjoyable experience. I even got to pet quite a few and go into an enclosure (supervised) with one.
We surprised our daughter with a visit to the Wolf Sanctuary, as wolves are her favorite animal! It was an amazing experience. Not only did we get to see a number of wolves, we got to pet and interact with a few too. John the caretaker was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell these animals mean the world to him. It’s about a 2.5 hr drive for us but we will definitely be back.
Very impressed by the quality of the facility. Wolves are well taken care of in clean areas and most are well tempered, surprisingly social and well mannered. Not what you would expect from a ŵolf. Beautiful animals and John the care taker obviously loves doing what he does. Thank you John for taking such good care of those wolves.
Small privately owned and operated sanctuary for rescued wolves and wolfdogs. The animals looked well kept after and have spacious kennels, but unfortunately, no free roaming space to run and frolic.
Met the owner who knew the history of all the animals there and walked us around the more domesticated and people friendly wolves.
Would return every weekend if it wasn’t 2.5 hours from home… an amazing space to experience these wonderful creatures!
