Great place to camp & hike. Beautiful views at the overlooks.
Only suggestion I’d give is if you are camping at a
“platform”- they’re a bit tricky to locate. Be prepared to hike in & pack accordingly. The bear boxes that are provided, at the platforms, are the best I’ve ever come across.
They have bathrooms, showers & laundry facilities.
We have not camped here but we did drive through the park to check it out. Definitely going back to camp. The Fall foliage was beautiful even though it wasn’t peak. Lots of places to grill and picnic. Be Bear Aware though. We did not see a bear but the signs are posted and all of the trash cans are bear proof. Nice little lake to fish in and also a beach to swim in the warmer months.

Went on a morning with cloud cover at that elevation. We still really enjoyed ourselves. Walked the tower trail, stone wall, and overlook trail. Missed the view at the overlook because of the cloud cover. Will be back to see it! The lake was really pretty too.

Very nice & well maintained. BEAUTIFUL views, moderate hike. Overlook deck needs to be better maintained, a lot of loose/bad boards. The rock formations are incredible. Great day!

I was at spot 63 in the campground. It was an easy back in and pull out. There was electricity but no water or sewage at the site. Saw a baby black bear but looked young enough that mama bear would be close. Roads up the mountain were curvy and steep, just like any mountain region. Great views though.
