Chassell Township Centennial Park

Chassell Township Centennial Park offers a natural and serene environment with a variety of amenities for visitors and their dogs. It features a playground, volleyball area, swimming beach, boat launch, picnic pavilion, public restrooms, and a Little Free Library. The park is wheelchair accessible with both accessible entrance and parking lot. Dogs are allowed and the park provides open spaces for activities. While there is limited shade outside the pavilion, the park is well-maintained and welcoming for families and pet owners.

Not much food variety, Lions Club burgers were dry and not hot.
Only one place to purchase fresh strawberries.
No one sold beer!?
Parade was long, and don’t quite understand throwing candy on roadway for kids??
Was great to have the research vessel docked.

Good place to launch boat , great fish cleaning station. Restrooms are clean, as was the whole park. Nice beach.

My place of nature and serenity when visiting MTU.

Awesome boat launch and beach! The fish cleaning station is a game changer. Keep it up, Chassell–great work!

Nice park. There is a playground, volleyball, swimming beach, boat launch, picnic pavilion, restrooms, Little Free Library, and lots of open space. Unless you are under the pavilion, there is not much shade, though. Dogs are allowed.
