Surprisingly quiet considering it’s in the middle of town, surrounded by some great restaurants, walking distances to museums, Bank of America Stadium, Truist Baseball field and so much more! Enjoyed our walks there.
Romare Bearden Park is one of my favorite spots in Uptown Charlotte. It’s beautifully designed with open green lawns, interactive fountains, and public art that gives it a vibrant yet relaxing vibe. Whether you’re here for a walk, a picnic, or just to unwind, it always feels refreshing. The views of the skyline are fantastic, especially at sunset. There’s often live music, food trucks, or small festivals on the weekends, so there’s always something going on. It’s clean, safe, and perfect for families, couples, or solo visitors. The location is also ideal—right by restaurants, museums, and the stadium. A perfect example of urban space done right.
Nice and small park in uptown area. You can have your lunch. Dog friendly. You may see live music as well. No free parking.
Green area within the uptown, an oasis inside the urban area. Pretty nice, there’s a lot of people enjoying the park, the cascade fountain it’s an attraction for kids. A city’s sightseeing.
During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of witnessing the breathtaking cherry blossoms in full bloom, which made the experience truly magical. The park’s serene atmosphere, combined with its stunning seasonal beauty, creates an ideal escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.
