The Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association Dog Park, located at 1318 Pecan Ave in the vibrant Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, offers a dedicated space for your furry friends to socialize and play. While not the largest dog park in Charlotte, it provides a valuable community amenity, thanks in part to contributions from Barnhardt Manufacturing Co. It’s a great spot for local dog owners looking for a convenient place for their pups to enjoy some off-leash fun.

This Charlotte dog park is known for its natural, bark/mulch/mud surface, giving it a rustic feel. A unique feature that some dogs enjoy is the presence of a “pool” or “kiddie pools” filled with water, offering a refreshing splash during playtime. However, be aware that this can sometimes lead to muddy conditions, especially after recent use of the pools or rain.

For those seeking dog parks in Charlotte, the Plaza Midwood location offers a simple yet effective environment for dog interaction. It’s a testament to community spirit, providing a much-appreciated area for dogs to run free and for owners to connect in this pet-friendly Charlotte community.

Someone decided to add a pool and now it’s a big mud pit.

Tiny local dog park. 100% bark / mulch / mud. There are better dog parks in town, but this is adequate.

Thank You Barnhardt Manufacturing Co! This is a great dog park on some prime land! Thank you for sharing it with us. Is it the biggest dog park – no, but the notion of giving back to the community is not lost on us. Great fun for the dogs! Thanks. Oh and my dog seemed to like the pool that was provided! Thanks again to the PMNA and Barnhardt!
