This park is on the footprint of my mother’s childhood home (circa 1930s-60s). I love this park so much.

The play set in the pictures is no longer here (assuming it was). The skyline looks the same, but this is now a dog park with a few planks of wood on the ground and NO kids play set

Homeless people hang out at the benches inside of the dog park. Something needs to be done with the corner business along Graham Street so that it’s not attracting so many vagrants. A great addition to the neighborhood but still needs a lot of work.

This is a dog park. It’s kind of a plain-Jane dog park, with lots of gravel and little grass, but it’s convenient to Fourth Ward and my dog likes it. We play fetch here and he also stares longingly into the “big dog” side of the park, wishing he could play with the larger animals.
