It was a nice place for our family reunion. Not the old family farm but it had what we needed to gather together. A nice pavilion in need of a little repair. The bathroom was clean but had a water leak. It a nice park. To bad someone finds the need to vandalize beautiful places…
Nice selection of play equipment including merry-go-rounds and swings.
Not sure if they just haven’t opened the park for the season yet or if lots of trash laying around is normal for this park. Didn’t even see a waste receptacle so I could pick up the trash.
Updated 7/18/24 everytime I come here it just gets worse & worse. Dog poop, broken glass & alcohol bottles, breezees, the bathrooms are never open, this particular time signs posted that they were closed for vandalism with a camera right there and the smell of urine from someone peeing in the corner by the men’s door.
I’ve been going here for 23+ years. I enjoyed it as a child and now my kids love it too.
Surprisingly spacious park for the middle of a neighborhood. Nice, if somewhat older, variety of playground equipment. Right next to the train tracks (separated by a fence for obvious safety reasons), so it can be fun to watch the trains go by if that’s your kids’ thing.
I nice little neighborhood park with playground equipment for the young, a low hoop basketball court, a covered picnic area (though no tables), bathrooms, shade trees and big open spaces for soccer, football out kite flying. Tucked away in a quiet area of Charlotte.
