Great spot to enjoy an easy 2.5 mile walk through nature around an old, flooded gravel pit. Bathroom and picnic tables available.
Great relaxing place to set on the benches watch the birds and hear the water. Amazing kayaking if you love lake kayaking
Lots of small beaches to access the water and have your own little spot. Dog friendly. Can launch your kayak.
Nice walking park with picnic tables. People we met there were friendly. Lots of rocks for rock pickers. Saw a few dogs being walked on their leashes. Paths are dirt and not flat so not wheelchair friendly. Had a restroom near the parking lot.
An awesome park, the place is huge. They obviously have the lake, walking track, a workout station, fishing is allowed. Excellent place for a dog to come. Sometimes the bathrooms aren’t open, and come summer or springtime the vegetation on and around the beach can get pretty thick. Some yearly maintenance to allow more awesome shoreline and beach would be awesome.
