This is a beautiful park. There are picnic tables, pavilions, charcoal grills, and plenty of shade and space to spread out. Perfect for a casual visit or birthday party. The playground is large and consists of two levels, with equipment for younger and older children. The water and wildlife are beautiful. We love walking the trails and watching the ducks and other feathered, furred, or scaled friends. There are also paddleboats for rent, a public restroom, a zip line, and a small fishing pier.

Mon-Fri there is no fee to enter. Sat-Sun (April 1st-Sept 1st) there is a NULL fee to enter the park. The boat rentals charge by the hour and are open April 1st- 3rd Thursday in November. There is a boat ramp if you want to bring your own. Multiple hiking trails/paths. If you like to fish there are a lot of docks to fish off of and the boat house also sells bait. There are multiple pavilions. Lots of picnic tables and grills too. Even the geese and ducks are friendly! I would highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

I always love here. I went here on Fall, now I am back for Spring. Yes! When you need a quietness, please come early at the morning 🌄

Our Church holds its annual volunteer picnic here. It is such a great place for families to come and relax, for churches and other organizations to host events. It makes for a great fishing spot as well.
