Fun place for my pup! People seem to keep it cleaned up, good water supply for the dogs, and agility equipment. Will visit again!
I like the park. Been here six times now, only two “aggression” issues. Most dogs (100+ so far) are great. I would recommend closing or greatly reducing some gaps in the baseball outfield gates.
Initially a confusing entrance to this dog park. If your looking at the baseball fields the dog park is on the very left edge of the park. There is a water fountain there to give your dog a drink, you a drink, or to fill a water bottle.
There is the 2 gate system to keep dogs in. They have a small dog area right away. The other gate goes to a long curved paved walkway that goes behind all the dog park that lead to a grass area with climbing dog toys and plenty of room to run. So basically the the large dog area is long and skinny. That being said it’s great. It’s a great use of space. Play with your dog a watch a baseball game or plane watch the airport that’s on the other side. Entertainment for both. They have lots of benches, which I appreciate.
It took forever for Charlevoix to get a dog park. Not many people seem to know about it yet, but boy did they do a great job.
Overall a 5 star review! I’ve already been back and will be again.
