Great spot shaded by the bridge.
Part of the larger Governor’s Park complex

I love this little park. My do has had fun meeting other dogs there. But there are no restrooms.

The dog park has been completely abandoned by the city. It is filthy and very run down. So unexpected for a park on DI. The Palmetto dog park in Mt Pleasant is so much better. What a shame!!!

We love it here – normally afternoons get pretty busy. There’s a grass part, a foresty part, and a gravel part in the big dog park. There is also a water fountain. They also have a fenced in area for smaller dogs.

Another awesome dog Park!! Play small dog park is just a small little square section they fenced off out of the big dog park, not much in it but a bench. The big dog park open small and then expands once you get around to the back. It has multiple benches to sit on as well as a very nice water fountain and picnic table. There is a gate out the back that leads to a walking trail that goes around the park. The park has a little bit of everything from Sand to Grass to a nice weeping willow area!! There is a very nice parking lot that is fairly close. The fencing is a nice wood frame with wire.
