A wonderful collection of parks- GPD has a great variety of parks that each showcase part of the natural history unique to Northeast Ohio. In addition to the great parks, they also offer awesome programs for youth and adults alike.
Nice peaceful walk. Usually, turtles and herons can be seen. Sometimes, snakes! I wish the path would wind thru the woods , back to the parking lot. Maybe some day! Also, every time I try to post a pic, it posts it sideways???🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Best thing about geauga county is our public parks and our incredible environment with trees and fresh water galore. Good trails and easy parking. However few amenities for disabled as there are no disabled paths at many parks . Apparently they don’t have plans to accommodate those people in wheelchair or walkers or 4ven families with strollers . Why not add a few wheelchair accessible paths. Need to serve everyone.
