Great park, several hiking trails for miles. Very peaceful and quite hilly.

Very nice quiet and clean park. Friendly hikers and dog walkers. Nice little spot by a small makeshift waterfall with two benches to sit in front of the calming stream. There’s also a bench right at the entrance with miscellaneous items that actually acts as a lost and found the community started. There’s always something there so if you think you lost something along your hike, fingers crossed you find it on that bench.

I took my first hike today at Whippoorwill Park. It was a magnificent outing.Started on Red trail, which is a moderate challenge, and returned on Blue trail.Trails are well marked and easy to follow. The scenery is interesting and makes for a superlative afternoon.

A great place to hike with picturesque views of a pond and a few streams. Not too hard, yet still yields a nice work out. Great for trail running too. No mountain biking allowed.

It’s a small little park. A handful of interconnected trails that cover the area. Some moderately steep (but short) sections that are somewhat challenging with fall leaves covering the ground. Trails are fairly narrow in most places and lots of thorns on the sides. But it’s pretty pleasant and good distances for small kids.
