Located at 3 Court House Dr in Central Islip, New York, Long Island Ducks is primarily known as a minor league ballpark but offers a welcoming and accessible environment for families and visitors. The park’s stadium features onsite services, concessions, and is fully wheelchair accessible with plenty of accessible parking. While primarily a sports venue, visitors note the friendly atmosphere, plenty of restrooms, and a range of family-friendly activities including bounce houses and inflatables for children, providing an enjoyable day out whether you’re bringing kids or just looking to relax near the games.
Though specific information about dedicated dog park amenities is not listed, the park’s inclusive atmosphere and accessible setup make it a potential stop for those seeking pet-friendly areas or events. Make sure to check with the venue for current policies or any designated dog areas before your visit. Looking for things to do around Central Islip with your pet? Long Island Ducks provides a locally loved spot to experience the community spirit, even if not solely a dog park.
Great Family Sunday Fun day! Don’t bring anything inside stadium. They will search all bags and you will lose it. Everything is so expensive! But kids get to run the bases at the end of day games. Baseball are given to kids after every inning to kids by Duck players. Bring your glove.
Always fun here! The atmosphere is always nice, friendly
Nice stadium, but I would never buy tickets in advance again! Kids got soaked and then a rain delay and never got to meet Quackers as promised! Nice way to treat kids there to sing at opening. They should have rescheduled or refunded tickets, but obviously refused to so they wouldn’t lose money, only the families that purchased tickets in advance lost all their money since we finally had to leave without a game because we were all (6 of us) soaked and freezing.
Love this place so much. Watching the games is so much fun, and they have a bounce house, inflatable slide and small inflatable obstacle course for the kids for a very reasonable price. The only cons are that the food is kind of pricey and I wish they didn’t sell every INCH of wall space to advertisers. We go multiple times a year, and have fun every time.
This minor league ball park is designed very well and has consession stands and plenty of bathroom accomidations and I would have given it more stars but we came unexpectedly to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the MC was walking the stands with the ducks mascot so I asked him if he could mention a quick Happy Birthday to my wife and his reply was we should have called ahead and could not make it happen. You would thinkbthat as intimate and small as this place is they would want to accomidate a small live request but nothing doing. I also have to warn you that the image below is of the items I bought and what it came out to. The cost isnt the issue for me but no thank you for the tip I left and the hot dog bun was stale. A really nice ball park was a real turn off, hope they can turn it around.
