I was extremely disappointed by their rude and unhelpful response. I called to report a dog being left outside in the cold weather, but I was repeatedly transferred between departments with no real assistance. They acknowledged that it might be illegal for a dog to be out in 32-degree weather but stated that they don’t enter private property. When I asked about next steps, they simply offered to transfer me to the ASPCA. When I mentioned calling the police, they dismissed the idea, telling me not to bother them with it. This lack of concern for the animal’s welfare is unacceptable.
0 stars. We went in to adopt a dog. The representative that began to show us around was not only condescending she grilled us with 100 questions. We’re animal lovers and understand the importance of making the right fit. However, treating potential adopters like criminals will not help make that right fit. Her questions were beyond inappropriate like why haven’t you found a dog yet? Then they wonder why dogs aren’t adopted. Shame.
Went to renew my dogs license. First time in the new shelter. Very nice, very clean. Saw volunteers playing with cats. They seemed happy.
I highly recommend this shelter they are amazing and super nice I got my dog today and I’m happy and she’s very happy also she likes playing and running in the back yard her new name is lucky
OMG I love this shelter!! Personally, I hate long comments, so I’m gonna keep this short. First of all, it’s so clean in second of all The people there are so nice and you just tell them what you’re looking for and I’ll get you a dog/cat/bird/etc like that. Third of all after I got my lovely dog they gave you all the chips, toys, blankets, collars, leashes for free!! If you’re thinking of adopting, you should definitely adopt here everyone here is great and the dogs (or any animals) are even better!
