Parking lot is big. Need a permit or can pay a day rate. Apply online for permit. Water didn’t open til nearly 11:30 for some reason. Very rocky shore. Suggest wearing water shoes.

It’s small but that’s part of the charm. I’m not sure if it’s open to non-residents you might want to check ahead but it’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a peaceful place away from all the noise

Very beautiful place to go. Beaches are small and nice. No rowdy crowds and many families.

The beach is rocky, but the water is usually calm. There are no huge waves like the South Shore. Good luck if you want to walk barefoot on the beach. This is technically a senior citizens’ beach, so expect a mellow atmosphere

About all I can say about this park is quite simple. We were visiting Long Island from NJ & VA. We just ate dinner at the Purple Elephant (absolute yum, BTW) and my SIL says this would be a nice place to watch the sunset. Wow!!!!! Gorgeous!!! IDK when we’ll be back but if you live there, you’ve got quite the gemstone…
