Took a nice walk along McCloud Run on a cool , crisp afternoon Dec 29. Was again reminded of the Deratio (sp)destruction of 3 years past. Lots of downed rotting trees and hanging branches. But amongst the woods, deadfall and now leafless shrubbery, we were met close to the trail by a large family of deer. A beautiful and magical sight. See the pics.

I absolutely love this trail! It’s perfect for a family fun, walking the dog or just peace and quiet for yourself. My dog loves to get into the stream after a long walk.
