FAQ for Fox Trail Park in Cedar Rapids Iowa:
It’s a water logged park, standing water in the wood chips. There were mosquitoes everywhere, mud all over the slides and equipment. Nothing is taken care of at this park. We stayed for about 5 minutes. And the water fountain had mud in it.
It’s a nice park for like 3 or 4 people to hang out at, but a lot of the playground has inappropriate words and images on them. Some of the smaller section is falling apart. Overall, 3 stars
Park is located in a former pond area/wetlands. The lowest area stays soggy long after the snow or rain has gone. Same applies to the mulched playground area, that gets very wet and muddy. Playground equipment is in fairly good condition, needs some maintenance. It’s a decent small park, but there are definitely nicer parks in the area.
Have been there 4 times with my 2 toddlers and there hasn’t been more then 2 or 3 other kids. Has equipment for 2-12 year olds. Has a basketball court, two playsets, swings and portable toilet. (bring wipes for hand cleaning)
Small, but we’ll maintained and rarely crowded. There are play areas for 2-3 year olds as well as a larger more challenging play area for 4-10+
