Nice and peaceful place. Not too crowded. The only downside is the availability of its own restroom. We need to cross the field to go to swimming association area to use their own restroom:(

RESTROOMS LOCKED.
What a shame. As a resident, I feel so frustrated that my toddler and I cannot access public restrooms at a community park that we visit almost every day. Reaching out to the recreation department was useless.

The nearby walking path through the woods—West Essex Trail—is not to be missed, my daily music & exercise (about 3 miles). Easy to enter from Cedar Grove Community park.

Beautiful little serene park. Great alternative to our usual hiking in the South Mountain for days we’re feeling particularly lazy, we just walk the path. Playground could use some upgrades but overall a clean local facility

Cute little hidden gem. The dinosaur 🦕 was fun! Park is clean. But of course it’s bug season so they don’t hesitate to choke you out as they make their way down you throat!
