Owners don’t pay attention to their dogs, aggressive dogs are allowed in, are watched like a hawk if a certain old lady is there although she doesn’t pay attention to her dog. Called and can’t get a clear answer on what anyone will do to those not following the so called rules. You are supposed to pay to use this park but no one to check if you did pay. Will drive to Waverly and use their dog park
My dog loves the space and hills, he is a big dog, so having a space a place for him to run around and meet friends is really convenient especially to hiking trails.
Great dog park! All of the dogs we’ve seen at the park are wonderful and the owners are nice. Very well kept park. My dog loves the grassy areas to run through and the water fountains. They also supply bags for poo clean up and have plenty of trash cans available. They do require an entry fee or a pass available at the city building.
Love to take my dog here to run around can’t wait until they open the other half of the park up for more room to run and explore
I take my German shepherd here almost everyday and she appsolutly loves it. The people are usually really great and super friendly, and their pets are the same. There is usually a decent crowd, especially 1-2 hours before it gets dark. The park is a good size, needs some newer wood chips and has some bare spots in the grass, but it doesn’t bother me much. Has a bathroom for thr people and water fountains for the pups. Big and small dogs welcomed, there is a separate spot for people with small dogs if they feel overwhelmed. Over all I think it’s a pretty great place.
