Stopped by for a walk after lunch at Mad Tacos. We parked on the side of Route 20 and walked the trail until we approached an open field. At that point we turned around to return to the car. The trail is well groomed, beautiful and winds through swamp and a wooded area. There are benches along the trail for rest and to take in the scenery.
This is an easy access trail year round. Beautiful year round. Snowshoe in winter, walk it regularly and see something different every time. In Spring this is the best place to see Skunk Cabbage emerge, summer it is shady and invigorating, beautiful fall colors, and gorgeous covered in snow.
Great trails. Beautiful view from the bridge. Very buggy this time of the year but that’s normal. I did the NCT portion and then the loop on the way back.
