🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Located in the northern region of Phoenix, Dynamite Park is a popular neighborhood park widely visited by families and dog owners. The park features spacious grassy areas, a playground, sports courts, and a walking loop, making it an inviting spot for outdoor activities with your furry companion. While Dynamite Park is not a dedicated or fenced dog park, local visitors frequently let their dogs play off-leash in the open spaces. Waste bag stations and trash bins are available for pet clean-up. The park is well-maintained, has wheelchair-accessible pathways, parking, and shaded picnic tables, though there are no restroom facilities or water fountains for dogs. Agility equipment is not available, and dogs of all sizes share the same open areas. If you’re looking for a relaxed, community-centric park to explore with your dog in the Cave Creek area, Dynamite Park is a welcoming choice.
Large park, plenty of room. Playground for the little kids and tennis for the big kids. Only down side is no restrooms.
I love the walk loop, flat easy. What I’m confused about are the refillable bag posts (who keeps bags in these?) for dog poop and why doesn’t anyone seem to want to pick their dogs poop up. I go to many parks in the phoenix area. This one is the most disappointing as far as respect for others and cleanliness. Particularly for the area. (And a lot of dogs off leash here regularly)
It makes me sad to witness the deterioration of such a beautiful park.
Latest acts of vandalism which supposedly take place at night, are making this park unsafe for everyone.
It is outrageous to see the extent of disrespect; youngsters or not, people do not have the right to trash a public place.
I have uploaded pictures of what I saw this morning on my daily walk, not only trash and broken glasses everywhere, but also trash cans tied to the children swings with a poll taken out of the ground, concrete and all.
Is this a place where we want to take our children?
Park Superintendent, can we please do something about it?
Can we have police or guards patrol the area at night?
Can we add cameras? Can we have our park back?
Posting park hours doesn’t stop people from going in unless there are gates preventing the entrance after park hours!
This is a wonderful neighborhood park. The walking path is .6 of a mile. There is always activity in the center – dog owners, kids practicing sports, etc. It’s safe and clean. In short, everything you want from a neighborhood park.
Fantastic small park that’s great for letting your dogs off leash and a nice walk/run on their mile long sidewalk. Lighted basketball courts and awesome tennis courts as well. Very clean and well that, one of my favorite parks.
