Desert Broom Park is a spacious dog park located in Cave Creek, AZ, offering a natural desert environment for dogs to enjoy. It features a fenced area that provides a safe off-leash experience for dogs. Visitors appreciate the desert scenery and the opportunity for their pets to roam freely in a secure setting.
Good soccer field and playground. Nice gravel to walk or jog laps. Located right next to the desert so be wary of rattle snakes
Fantastic smaller soccer complex with a great playground and bathrooms. Very clean.
Great soccer field with a lil shaded playground for the little kids if older sibling is playing. Bathrooms available. However, no shade for spectators 👎🏼
The park itself is beautiful. However, an older man arrived at the park shortly after I arrived with my two German Shepherds. My dogs were on leashes. The man allowed his large dog to run loose. It immediately spotted my dogs and came charging towards us. It got within five feet of my dogs before it responded to the owner’s calls.
My dogs are NOT protection trained. They did go into protection mode to protect me. If the loose dog had made contact, it would have suffered the consequences much to my horror. The man continued to allow his dog to remain off leash.
Shortly thereafter, a woman arrived with two dogs also off leash. I did report the incident to park services. Noone, dog or human, is safe if people ignore the posted rules. Sadly they ruin the experience for all.
Ok fields for soccer and kiddos playground. Bathrooms only have 2 stalls, no doors?!? Parking is an issue as only a few spots otherwise have to park on street. People bring dogs but don’t clean up after them ☹️ Come on people! No class! Need to have more park maintenance please…
