I had no idea what I was getting into here. For reference, this area is part of the state park system, requires a pass. It can be used to train dogs for hunting fowl. I don’t hunt or train hunting dogs, but wanted to let my dogs swim. The gravel road from the East side is garbage, use the route from the West, your car will thank you. Also, it’s just a dirt lot that is literally right next to a pond. No walking to it, just there. Dogs had fun! I’d just be mindful around hunting season in case someone actually is there trying to train their hound.

Nice area. Very clean little lake for the dog to swim in. Road there is a little rough in spots, but not too bad.

A beautiful well maintained off the beaten path location, looking forward to try fishing there.
