My husband and I adopted a dog from Sanilac County Humane Society. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. They helped give advice on what we can do during the first few months while our new pet is adjusting to it’s new home. They were amazing!
Great shelter. Could not decide so we adopted two great dogs.. Process was easy volunteer staff was great and they reviewed our application the same day submitted. Thanks for growing our family.
What an amazing place. You can truly feel the love for the animals here. We have adopted several senior cats from this facility and the experience has been wonderful every time. Thank you for taking such amazing care of these loving animals.
We adopted a 7yo dachshund named Luigi from this shelter a few months ago and it was the best choice of our lives! After reading his story about losing his owner we felt such a strong need to give him the best life possible as we recently lost our 19yo dachshund and we felt the same pain as him. Together we lifted each others spirits and couldn’t be happier. He is a good boy and we love him so much! (We take him everywhere so you can maybe catch him strolling thru a park or store in MI) !
The woman who assisted us on adopting, thank you so much! The interview process is smooth and not overwhelming. I highly recommend adopting from this shelter!
Membership allows you discounted pricing to all of the Events. The “Home Dinners” offer you a variety of venues and menus throughout the season. The evening of April 26th was held at a MiCasa Stays Airbnb with golf cart shuttles from your car.
