Peaceful quiet friendly park mostly for older people. Nice park to walk a couple of laps and do basic exercises. With summer months coming hardly any trees for shade. High traffic area lots of construction noise. Don’t recommend it.

I bought into the old carpentersville neighborhood, and this park is a huge gem to be 2or3 blocks from. Always something going on for the families, and as a fellow Combat Veteran, you know I LOVE the memorial. It is such a great place to be a part of.
