A great place to relax and enjoy the beach. The sand is clean and the water though cold was inviting. Beach crowding is at a minimum do to the limited parking. So, finding a nice spot is easy. You can enjoy a stroll on the walkway or along the beach. Families are everywhere as this is as family friendly a beach you will find. There are restrooms and lifeguards are there in peak times.

Nice place. Little crowded. But easy access and parking. Like Santa Barbara & Summerland better.

Nice beach. Great for teenagers to hang out and families with young kids. If you don’t want to put your feet in the sand, you can still enjoy the view from one of the benches that are on the staircase. It is a few feet away from Carlsbad village .

Absolutely perfect place to pull into port as a landlubber. Yaargh! Seriously tho, one of thee absolute cleanest stretch of beaches in all of SoCal. Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone. If you’re lucky enough to score parking nearby it’s just a few steps from car to shore. And if not the short jaunt from paid parking to the beach will take ya right by some of the coolest shops and delicious eateries around all of San Diego County.
