FAQ for Linder Park in Carlisle Pennsylvania:
Very cute park been here forever. Good for Littles and bigs 😎
It’s probably one of the nicest parks around. It has it all. There’s slides, swings, bathrooms, benches, seesaws, shade, and its grill and dog friendly. Our kids absolutely love it. It’s in a nice neighborhood, and we always feel safe. I feel like it is on its own island. I say it’s a must visit if you have kids.
Shaded with mature trees, and new trees have been added. Benches are along a meandering paved path down the middle. A small safe playground pit, swingset, and play-enriched equipment area are in three separate areas. I believe it was the Kiwanis who provided a free book box near the picnic table. Missing are public bathrooms, but it is a small park near downtown, so safety, cleaning and maintenance from vagrancy are probably why.
Nice park, but the equipment needs to be cleaned regularly. I walked over to put my granddaughter in the swing; it was soiled with bird feces. Smh.
Nice open area with swings, multiple slides, and other fun playground ewuipment. Also picnic tables and benches with lots of shade.
