We booked a charter with Top Dog Charters for something fun for our family to do while visiting Cape Charles on vacation. Captain Neil and his Mate were both AMAZING! They were knowledgeable and happy to share their knowledge and teach our children tips and tricks on how to catch each kind of fish we were trying to catch.. All of us had a great time! Our children are ages 17, 13, and 7 yrs old, and each told us that they cannot wait to do it again next year! We will DEFINITELY be booking with Top Dog again! The boat was beautiful, clean , and comfortable- I would definitely recommend booking a charter with Top Dog if you are looking for a fun day out on the water fishing!

Captain Neil and his first mate Alex were so wonderful!! He and Alex were very personabe and experts since all six of us caught something! Total catch 2Cobia 40 1/2 and 42” keepers, one 34” Cobia released, 1 missed 50” Cobia, 13 Spanish mackerel! Neil told us how to cook the Spanish mackerel, fried with bread crumbs and they were Phenomenal and very tasty! As a young girl I fished with my dad, now fast forward it’s the first time for my kids fishing on Neil’s beautiful 45ft boat! It was a wonderful full circle moment that we will treasure! We look forward to doing this every year with Top Dog!
