Tam O’Shanter Park is emerging as one of the top spots for those seeking a dog park in Canton, Ohio. Although still under development, this park offers beautiful grassy areas, native plants, and scenic trails that are perfect for pet-friendly hikes and leisurely strolls with your dog. With rolling hills and open spaces, dog owners will find plenty of room to explore and enjoy walks all year round.
The park is well-known for its lovely picnic tables and spacious, covered shelters, making it ideal for family gatherings or simply relaxing while your dog explores. Trails accommodate hikers of all levels, and there are plenty of opportunities for observing wildlife or capturing stunning photos, especially during golden hour. While there is no specially designated and fenced off-leash area for dogs, the park is pet-friendly and welcomes leashed dogs on all its hiking paths.
This a really beautiful place to get your steps in. It is under development still, so I look forward to seeing how it turns out. We had family photos taken here, as well. It was great for it.
This park will be beautiful one day. For now it still has the reminisce of golf course. Also idk maybe on the tall mound star gazing possibilities. Enjoying my photos? Instagram me @ #starving_artists_photography also @ #davidhartmanII
Cross Country skiing in the winter!! Rolling hills, flat, gentle slopes. No rentals. Bring your own. Well marked trails. Can do a few miles or loop back around.
The shelters are perfect for a large family gathering. They are large with plenty of tables and a covering for colder weather. The surrounding park is beautiful with walkable grassy areas and native plants. It is stunning during golden hour (esp in fall) and perfect for observation/photography walks.
I saw a total of 10 deer at different times during my run tonight (see if you can spot them in the pics). Lots of grasslands which I enjoy. Trail development still taking place, but I was able to run for an hour and only backtrack over my previous course one time.
