Too much waste and mismanagement. Too many lies from the organization and not enough honesty to the tax payers. It’s a real shame because parks are very nice to have but not the way this organization runs things.
Nickel Plate Trail extension on Whitacre/Crowl rd in Minerva-
Trail is well maintained, although pretty rugged compared to the other trails in more populated areas. There is no pavement at all, it follows the old railroad tracks from around Baird Ave, east to Rt 183. As both sides of the trail are private property, many of them farms and pasture land, do not stray off the trail. Excellent for dogs and horses, but parking at the Crowl parking lot only fits about 4-5 vehicles. Eastern part of the trail is extremely secluded. Geocaches galore on this trail!
I love these parks! They are all very well kept, there is a lot to do as far as hiking, biking, fishing and just relaxing on a bench overlooking the water. I go magnet fishing frequently and almost always do I find something interesting!!
Very knowledgeable and caring rehab specialists. I called about a baby abonded bird and they were very quick and attentive to help
All around a great place to spend your day. From Walking the trails, to fishing & kayaking. I try to make Sippo a weekly stop. Its the perfect place to recharge from life’s hustle and bustle.
