City Field Park, Willy The Whale From Mother Goose Land

City Field Park, also known as Willy The Whale From Mother Goose Land, is a unique roadside attraction and dog park in Canton, OH. The park is wheelchair accessible and good for kids. It has a gated dog park area popular with local dog owners, though it may flood after rain and has limited seating with only two picnic tables. Visitors have noted some safety concerns around the attraction and some maintenance issues such as a loose gate and uncut grass. Dogs are allowed to roam off-leash within the gated area, making it a chill spot for dog owners and their pets.

Love bringing my dogs to the gated dog park spot! They dont have enough of those around here &its just such a great spot to chill with yer fur babies😏👌✌💙
Took my dog to Willy’Dog Park today(9/15). The grass still needs mowed . Where the guys come in to cut the grass , the gate was loose and my Jack Russell slipped under the fence to the parking lot when a car pulled up. Time to leave. Very disappointing !
Place is weird. Kinda sketchy. Kinda cool.
We take our dogs here since it’s right down the road but as far as dog parks go this one is low on the list. Floods Everytime it rains so expect the 1 end to have a pond that the dogs WILL go in to. No one ever picks up dog poo. There are only 2 pic nic tables to sit at.
Willy is listed as a roadside attraction so we were in Ohio for a vacation and decided to take a day to just find weird attractions. This place is sketchy. Some questionable people were hanging around and I felt very uncomfortable walking back to get a pic of Willy. Inside his mouth were lots of trash, used prescription bottles, and what looked to be a bottle of urine. I hurried and got my pic of him then quickly got out of there. If you go, take some other people with you for safety reasons just to be sure.
