Awesome DIY Skate Park.
Lights Come On At Night!
When I hear “DIY” I expected a parking lot with random ramps and rails. When I pulled up what I saw was an amazing, concrete, skater run and funded skatepark. Dale and his wife Melanie are amazing people who just want to give the skaters a safe place to shred and that’s evident. If you can donate, donate. If you know concrete finishers who can help them keep going, make the intro. What these people are doing for the community is unmatched.
This is one of the sickest DIYs in existence. If you are near Akron don’t think twice. Go here. Shred the gnar.
Drove 2 hours to skate this and it was absolutely amazing everything is super fun. Great for all skill levels. If you enjoy skateboarding this place is a must to stop by and checkout well worth the drive will definitely be coming back. They also have a pump track which was also super fun to carve around. The transition is made very well and is super smooth and also has one of the best hips I’ve ever skated.
