McGill Park

McGill Park is a spacious, friendly park in Canal Winchester featuring paved walking trails, a large playground with swings, slides, and a kids’ zip-line, picnic tables, and clean restroom facilities. It’s well-suited for families with children and dog owners, providing accessible paths, plenty of parking, and an inviting natural setting for hiking and outdoor fun. The park is still in development with ongoing improvements planned, including the preservation of an old farmhouse and additional phases of expansion.
Reviews
The park is open but not complete just yet.
I’m just happy to have the additional walking trails available that I can get to by just walking out the door.
The park is fine. The city refuses to turn off the lights at night. They claim it’s not bright, despite complaints from people who actually live near here. The Canal Winchester City Council doesn’t care about the people they are supposed to serve.
Fun and unique place. I didn’t get pictures of it, but there was a little kids zip-line too.
This is a very spacious park already and this is just phase 1 of 3 phases. The couple of months old park already has a shelter house, paved walking trails, playground equipment, an old farmhouse that I read is going to be kept, and plenty of parking.
This park is awesome, has walking trails, large playground, soccer fields. A few picnic tables. We took our grandsons here they lovers it. I’m sure there is much more to do. Our schedule didn’t allow for more discovery. This is a newer park so all the ammonites are very nice. Toilet facilities are Port-a-Jon’s but very clean . If you’re looking for a park for your kids to run off energy this is a good one.
