Enjoy a clean and spacious experience at Barrett Township Dog Park, a favorite spot for local dog owners in Canadensis, PA. This dog park features large, securely fenced grassy areas, separated for both small and large dogs to ensure every pup feels comfortable and safe. Meticulously maintained, the park offers clean surroundings, mowed lawns, and sturdy fencing, perfect for energetic play and off-leash fun.
The park includes convenient amenities like poop bag stations, trash bins, and storage areas along the fence stocked with toys, balls, and extra bags (though it’s smart to bring some extras). There’s also a portable restroom onsite, plenty of parking, and easy access to local pet-friendly hiking and the red/blue mountain trails nearby, making it a great hub for dog-friendly outdoor adventures in Canadensis, Pennsylvania.
Overall this park looks pretty big. Unfortunately we went when it was extremely icy and we could not walk around. Def not the best during winter, but probably wonderful for the spring and summer!
Nice place to take your pup. Area for big dogs and a separate area for smaller dogs.
Clean. Has a porta-potty, cleanest one I have been in.
Not a bad park per se, but don’t expect any agility courses as on photos 4 years ago. It’s just a bit fenced lawn for dogs with tennis balls, a hoop and a ladder hill. Totally deserted on a Sunday.
Beautiful and spacious dog park. Very clean and well maintained. Grass is cut, fencing is new and secure and they have storage areas clipped to the fence that hold toys, balls, water, and bags. Plenty of parking and there is one portable restroom on site. Separate sides for big dogs and small dogs.
Very clean, well taken care of. Poop stations, with bag supplies (bring a few extra if you can to plus up the stockpiles). Easy access to the red/blue mountain trails as well . Big/small dog separate areas.
