One of my favorite hikes in red river gorge. This is an easy loop with rock bridge also being very nearby! Plenty of parking and restrooms also available

The only rock bridge over water at the gorge is worth the journey alone.

Very nice hike for families with younger kids. You can hang out by the creek at the bottom, and the hike back up is steep, but not crazy, and you’ll be back at the parking area right as the kids start REALLY whining.

Not the easiest trail to the falls but definitely worth it. If you have difficulty walking in anyway then be sure to not go at it alone. Also I highly recommend that you keep your eyes on the trail. The trail has 2 entrances with the parking located in the middle, which provides a nice loop to the falls and back. If you want to get more serious with your hiking, continue past the falls to the rock bridge and beyond you will have a option to take a mid level trail or a bottom level trail. The bottom level trail leads to the creek, which eventually turns into a mud area. The middle height trail follows the cliff line of the creak. At a few points its very steep with no room to pass another hiker.
