Located along the river at 2 Riverside Dr, Wiggins Waterfront Park is a popular destination for locals and visitors looking for pet-friendly outdoor activities in Camden, New Jersey. The park boasts beautiful views of the skyline, waterfront trails, and plenty of open space – perfect for a stroll with your dog or relaxing by the water. Famous for its vibrant atmosphere, this park is not just a great dog-friendly hangout, but also hosts concerts, festivals, and family-friendly events throughout the year.
While there isn’t a dedicated off-leash dog park or fenced area mentioned, the park is well-loved for its lawn seating, walking trails, and the lovely river backdrop. Visitors appreciate the seating available, shaded spots, and the variety of community events like music festivals and cultural celebrations. Keep in mind that parking is mostly paid, but accessible in nearby lots, and the park’s location near the Adventure Aquarium and downtown amenities makes it an ideal stop for a day out with the family – furry members included.
Very nice place to visit, and I went to a free concert, beautiful people. I had a wonderful time.
Went to see Al Di Meola at Wiggins Waterfront. Great, short acoustic show with lightning storms in area. Part of Camden County Summer Music program. Easy to get to, parking in area NULL, portapotty’s at entrance to amphitheater and a small enthusiastic crowd . Bring your lawn chairs and hang out enjoying great music.
The South Jersey Caribbean Festival was so much fun. This Free festival had great Caribbean music such as Steel drums (pan), Orchestra LA 21 spanish band, stilt walkers (Mokojumbies), and cultural dancers. There was a great selection of Caribbean food and craft vendors.
They had free face painting and activities for children.
Everything about the Wiggins water park is love/ beautiful and free. For the last 10 years my kids and I have been loving it ❤️ and it’s even better now that they do a secure check before entering to keep us all safe. Looking forward to the next 4th of July 2026.
Came here few times and always loved it. It’s great place for a walk and to see both sides of Camden county. You can see lot of warships here, skyline of Pennsylvania, bridge 🌉, hotels etc. It has chairs to sit, relax and enjoy nature and water front. Adventure Aquarium is also nearby. Finding free parking 🅿️ spaces nearby will be tough however paid parking are available. Thanks 👍
