marked up my dog’s face with the clippers trying to find a place closer to us but will not be returning to this place as she has marked up my dog with clippers on his face that is unacceptable and she didn’t even apologize or admit she did that … totally unreasonable

Donated a Spa Day to an adorable shelter dog. Shelter posted the Before & After photos on its online site. Thanks to Yarn & Bone staff’s great grooming, this cutie will have a greater chance to be adopted into a loving home. Thank you!

This store is great. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They know their products. If I go in for a specific item and they don’t have it, they either order it in or transfer it from another store. My large dogs prefer OC Raw and Yarn and Bone are the only stores in the area that carry it. They have an excellent selection of choices.
I have never used the pet wash area, but I have been in the store while it was being used and the dogs had easy access and it seemed to be very nice.
I also love their monthly nail clipping. Quick and easy. Sometimes there is a line, but it is very organized and quick.

My husband and I have been customers for many years. Best place to buy from for your furbabies. When the original shop was by the high school, they were always helpful. We shopped their for a decade for our chihuahua. Even had her Easter pics done there.
And now we have a ‘special needs’ Papillon that is a year old. Sensitive stomach, protein allergies, etc. We have to introduce foods to him like people do to an actual baby. We’ve also had a hard time finding toys he cannot chew apart. Yes, he’s like a 12 pound pit bull.

Today, we went to the Camden location, because the service in Milford is horrible. One of the employees helped us. Her name is Bree. ( I hope i spelled it right.)
We explained our situation. She recommended a specific chew toy that you put small treats in. He’s had many with no success. Then she pointed out an entire section of one ingredient treats and foods that are wild meat and fish. Finally!!!! Someone that understands the needs of our dog. She LISTENED and actually cared!
We came home and he loves the chew toy and the rabbit bites she suggested.
I can’t believe that only ONE employee understands what protein allergies are. We’ve struggled for months with our dogs needs. We’ve asked about wild meat or fish treats. No one knew anything.

We’ve shopped at both locations trying to find what our vet says our dog can have, that will not make him sick.
Not one employee at either location has ever taken the time to help us, until now. They point in a direction in a store and stand behind the register to hold the counter up.

We have never been shown an isle where these foods are until now and April 17th will be a year of struggling with this and racking up vet bills. It’s illegal to buy venison, rabbit, etc. And here there is an entire isle of one ingredient wild meat treats. We do 80% of our shopping at Yarn and Bones.

Thank you, Bree. You have no idea how much you’ve helped us. You’re a valuable employee. I think management should have you train other employees, in both locations, on how to listen and understand the needs of people’s pets. Not everyone is just browsing for an everyday toy, treat or food.

God Bless

I’m not impressed with the grooming abilities but the prices are on par with majority of facilities in the area. More than likely I won’t be seeking out their grooming services again nor would I recommend.

Updated: as a reply to your rude comment Fergus’ face was not matted and his muzzle did not need to be shaved. I see others complain about your poor customer service and obviously they’re correct. You just lost a customer for sure. Moral of the story, take some etiquette and customer service courses. Not only did she shave a dog in the middle of winter but the work was lazy. I had to clean up the cut and the shampoo you’re using stinks. So if he was such a good client then why was the work so bad??
