What makes this dog park unique is its lakeside access where dogs can splash and swim, a rarity among dog parks near Cambridge. The area is wheelchair accessible, and kids are welcome, making it a great spot for group outings. While the park is mostly fenced, note that some sections open to the lake don’t have barriers, so attentive supervision is necessary. Bring your own water bowls and be mindful of local wildlife, including ticks during certain seasons.
Very nice place, has a lot of trails aswell for a nice walk. Water is actually pretty clean but I’d still bring a bowl and water. Also ticks are very bad this year so be prepared! There is this sorta silent rule that when someone else shows up after you have been there for a while to pack up and go on a walk with your dog so the people pulling up can enjoy the park in peace.
Great idea for saltfork, but the ends of the park on both sides of the lake are wide open so any dog can just take off. Looks like when water level are normal the water comes up to the fence but still nothing keeping a dog in the park other then water
This is a really nice dog park with access to the lake. Our dogs had such a good time. There is a place on the left side where a dog can get to the other side of the fence. So just be aware. There’s also a picnic table for owners to sit at.
First time here. And it was beautiful the dog was allowed on the beach. People were friendly and we were able to get a great camp site and make new friends surrounding our campsite! Looking forward to more trips.
Awesome place for our Goldens to swim and to meet other furry friends
