Whoever designed and maintains this park did/does a fantastic job. a great mix of natural and curated plant life through all four seasons. play structures that are fun to play on and enjoyable to look at. truly a park for everyone
Kids had a lot of fun! Especially the slide. Nice little park to hang out and enjoy the space.
There are always many ppl with small kids and it has good visibility. I feel this place is safe and lovely.
This is Timothy J. Toomey, Jr Park now, not Rogers Street Park. For some reason, Google can’t confirm the edit, even though to quote directly from the web page for this park:
“The design of the park (formerly known as Rogers Street Park) was informed by the Eastern Cambridge/Kendall Open Space Study and Connect Kendall Square Open Space Competition, which resulted in a framework plan that will guide the development of three new parks in eastern Cambridge.”
Still, it’s an absolutely beautiful spot to bring kids with a really detailed and interactive playground, and it also has an off-leash dog run.
This park is great for all ages!! Great set up and layout. Little kid can scoot or bike around the park. Water pad, slide, climbing logs, bird playhouse, big hill to rolling or running down grass area for picnic or play volleyball! In the city!!!!
