Joan Lorentz Park
Parking

Joan Lorentz Park is a small, family-friendly park near Harvard Square and close to the Cambridge Public Library. It features a playground with slides and swings, making it ideal for toddlers and kids. The park is wheelchair accessible, has a locked gate, and is a peaceful spot to stop by when visiting the Cambridge area. While it does get busy on summer weekends and lacks extensive shade, it provides a safe and enjoyable environment for both children and dogs.

This is a very nice park with a playground nearby. It gets busy on summer weekends but you can usually find a a good space. Not too many trees for shade though so remember to bring some SPF!

This is a beautiful Park. Unfortunately, it is more and more becoming a homeless encampment and the city seems to be turning a blind eye to it.

Small park near Harvard square (10 min). Pretty good for those visiting MIT and Harvard to stop by and give the kids some playground time. Somewhat small but has all the toddler could need. Locked gate and far enough from the street. Also next to the Cambridge public library.
