It’s tough fishing , but there’s BIG Bass in here. I caught my PB here 4.4lbs and the one swimming with him was double his size

This is an adorable little park with a playground, walking trail, and lake, in a beautiful wooded setting. I was happy to find it was less than a mile away from the hotel where I was staying for a few days, just across the interstate.
My first choice was a dog park for my small senior dog to run, but the closest one I could find was in Adairsville. But Ooky Memorial Park turned out to be a good second choice.
Unfortunately we disappointed the three ducks swimming in a row, as when we got close to the shoreline, they swam toward us, likely hoping for bread.
When we got further down the paved path, I saw an outlet mall across the street, which is one of the big draws to Calhoun.

Overgrown, not maintained, and neglected park. Calhoun should be embarrassed to have this park in their possession.
Call an arborist, lawn care guy, or somebody.
It used to be nice, I’ve been coming here for years.
No bikes allowed, but needles are…
The sidewalks are dangerous as well, homeless people sleeping in the bushes. Numerous needles have been removed from the grass.
