We love how large a space the dog park is and that it is separated into two large dog areas as well as small dog area. We take our three labradoodles every day for 1/2 hour romp.
Very well maintained and usually not too busy. There are 3 different gated areas depending on how big your dog is and whether or not they get along with bigger/smaller dogs. All 3 areas are just grass fields so not much for the doggies to do other than run and play with other dogs.
Great place along the greenbelt to bring the fur babies for a safe day of running free and doing all the fun things doggies love to do.
I would usually bring mine early in the morning, before it got crowded and they had the whole place to run and play.

Took my puppy out to a dog park for the first time and he loved it! It makes me happy that the city provides such a great amenity to the community. I do believe the signs advise that all dogs should be leashed unless in a fenced area. Some people are so rude and have no self awareness letting their dogs run around on the trail/soccer field unleashed. I was with my 3 year old toddler and 20 pound pup and an unleashed pitbull mix circled us and scared my toddler so badly. Shame on those who are so inconsiderate! You are the reason accidents happen. Thank you to the city of Caldwell for this dog park. A big middle finger to those who do not follow the guidelines.
This is a huge public park with three fenced areas. One for small dogs under 30 lb, one for large dogs and then a big one for mixed. Plenty of parking and there’s also a soccer field next to it. I knocked one star because the garbage cans tend to be overfilled and need to be emptied more frequent. Each gated section has a walk path so you can get your steps in as well.
