Discover one of the best dog parks in Butte, Montana at Skyline Dog Park, located near the Kids Fishing Pond and playground. This dog-friendly location boasts spacious and securely fenced areas for both large and small dogs, with separate enclosures so pups of all sizes can play comfortably off-leash. Visitors enjoy beautiful mountain views, pet-friendly walking trails adorned with wildflowers, and convenient access to playgrounds and a fishing pond for the kids, making it perfect for the whole family.
Amenities include shaded benches, clean restrooms, drinking fountains for both people and pets, and complimentary poop bags for easy cleanup. With distinct areas for small dogs and plenty of loops to walk, Skyline Dog Park stands out as a welcoming, well-equipped destination for local dog owners looking for safe off-leash play and scenic walks in a vibrant community atmosphere.
Both off-leash, enclosed dog runs & on-leash walking trail areas. Pretty scenery, and I enjoy seeing the kids at the fishing pond!
The GPS directions first took us to a partially fenced field that said NO DOGS… so we were confused! Then we started over and found the Skyline Park with the Kid’s playground, and found the dog park. It’s a big, fenced park. There is a shaded bench, a porta-potty for humans, and poop bags for the pups. There is a water faucet outside the fenced area. So – if at first you don’t find it, don’t get discouraged. We had a good visit here.
Way too many people allow their dogs off leash outside the fenced area that do not have good recall or control by the owners. This could be hazardous so be ready. The humans owners are not good leaders of their dogs and become unfriendly when you try to protect your on-leash dog. Otherwise, a great space for dogs to be walked and exercised!!
I love this park. It has a cute little pond that kids can fish in, playground in the front, the bathrooms have always been super clean no matter what day of the week it is, there are numerous loops to walk and connect to, and in the back of the park has a big and small dog off leash area that my dogs love. With all the rain we’ve been getting, I’ve really love seeing all the colorful wildflowers bordering the walking paths and the restoration areas are filling in beautifully.
Nice off leash dog park with 3 separate large fenced enclosure for our dog to run free. Have an enclosure for small dogs only. The park have drinking fountains for dog and human, also have bathrooms. The only major downside is that the enclosure for small dog is a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the parking lot.
