Large grassy area to run and play. A few older style playground equipment spread out in the park. Entertained our 5 year old for about an hour. No dogs allowed in the park, so be mindful. However at the end of the park there is a walking trail that dogs are allowed on next to the aquatic center. Recommend.
I liked that there is no dogs allowed in park so the kids don’t have to worry about walking in dog bombs. They have a big area and a couple johnny on the spots sometimes there is no toilet paper so make sure u are prepared.
The old broken play structures was replaced. The kids love it. It is much nicer than it was. Hoping that they add more over time. Water fountains do not work.
I feel like this park deserves a 5 star, almost. It is an eclectic mesh between new and old playground equipment. As well as old skateboard and basketball hoops and new tennis and pickleball courts. It has lots of pavilions and places to eat. A decent amount of shade as a whole. They don’t have official bathrooms, but they do have open Porta potties. There is no place to wash hands, so have hand sanitizer on hand, and maybe toilet paper. I could see no drinking fountains, so plan on bringing water as well. My kids enjoyed the playground even though it was cold and wet, so I imagine that it is an enjoyable playground in general.
Wow! This park was great for our lunch today. There are numerous play equipment options to meet the differing needs of kids. The playground equipment is spread out. A slide and the largest climbing pieces are separate and have shades hung over them. There are shaded picnic tables spread out around the outer edge of the park. With the equipment pieces being spread out, a play piece is accessible near any table. There are six porta-potties. Across the road, there are courts for playing sports.
