Went for the first time yesterday. I never realized what a beautiful resource we have there. Fishing was good, thanks to my fishing buddy Scott who turned me on to this place. I’ll be back !
Well maintained trails. Catch and release fishing. When we visited in mid October, plenty of oldfield asters still blooming. The trails are short but provide pleasant views of the ponds. Restrooms on site have keypads. Not sure how to get the codes. Very unique observation deck.
Park is beautiful in the fall, and they did an amazing job in the overhaul project. Easily walkable trails and multiple lakes on the property, plus lots of wildlife. Highly recommended
Place is amazing in the fall. Has nice trails, overlooks, and bathrooms. Definitely come visit.
A beautiful gorgeous park. Very scenic with great views. 2 mentions though, there’s a bridge in the middle of the park along a trail that has an almost 1 foot step so make sure your watching walking up to the bridge or you could trip & fall. The viewing platform for the outlook of the swamp to the east is very nice. Love the view. However should of been a little more angle to it. But other then that I gave it a 5 star as it’s a gorgeous park with beauitful views. It is regular driveway stone to the Pavillion area by the way. Mentioning that just in case anyone who is in a wheelchair visits here.
