Reviews
Puppy was obviously well taken care of and the staff were amazing. They clearly had given him a better environment than where he was from and he will hopefully only get better at home with us now. We had issues pop up with our apartment and the staff completely worked with us along the way. Mackenzie was a great hand off especially since both me and my partner have anxiety. 11/10 experience.
Sometimes people have life changing experiences and have to make tough decisions. The day we brought our dog in I was heartbroken and hyperventilating trying to explain our families situation upon drop off. They then posted on Facebook saying things that were not true about why we surrendered our dog. I received horrible and hateful messages from individuals that saw the post, which was the last thing I expected to come out of our situation. After a month of knowing he was still there I did the right thing and tried to fix our situation and went back to get him. I explained I was now in a different financial position than I was a month prior, but they DENIED us from BUYING our dog back! Not too many people are willing to go back and try to do the right thing, our 4 children were even more devastated than before. Our family had already been through enough trauma and we just wanted to make things right! You’d think after the trauma of the family and dog or any animal has gone through, they would want to reunite them. Sadly this place has employees that do not care and do things that go against breach of confidentiality. They should be held responsible and receive legal consequences!!! Sadly cops aren’t much help around here and I wish there was more I could have done to fight them to get our dog back.
We adopted an amazing dog from there 13 years ago and it was an amazing experience. Best dog ever. He passed so of course we came back, TOTALLY different story! The thin reddish hair girl at the front desk was BEYOND rude. It was like she didn’t want the dogs to go to good homes. I went for 1, saw 2, wanted them both, left with zero. Reading the other reviews I don’t know why she is still employed.
recently visited the Humane Animal Society, and overall, I was impressed with the facility. The place was clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained, with the animals appearing well-cared-for. You can tell they have a lot of love for the animals, which is always a good sign.
However, my experience with customer service was a bit mixed. The front desk staff could use some improvement, particularly with one employee who seemed unwelcoming. The skinnier woman With the red sweatshirt had
a somewhat snarky attitude and didn’t seem too eager to offer helpful information. On the other hand, the other woman at the front desk, who was a bit fuller in size, with purple hair and colorful pants was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was friendly, helpful, and provided me with all the information I needed, even offering a business card and assisting me on the computer.
While the facility itself was great, the customer service experience could definitely be improved, especially with the attitude from one staff member.
It is actually clean and animals look healthy and happy. They just refused to take in a cat when there are cages open. I Thought they care to make sure any animal gets help.
