FAQ for General Burnside Island State Park in Burnside Kentucky:
The week of Oct 16th to that Sunday. Having a great time at General Burnside Island! The only thing was is the campers that was behind us. Their kids ran wild! A couple of them tried to come in our camper different times, with us sitting right there and he even looked at us, and still walked to the door. One of the kids tried to get on the camp host golf cart when they weren’t there. One of their kids crapped by someone else’s camper, pulled his pants down infront of their 3 girls to use the bathroom. Then that boy flipped off the girls’ mother and cussed her out. Then the same boy was in the road by someones golf cart around 9:30 pm, no parents around. They had to go find them. The youngest of the boys kept flipping our breaker off and on to our electric box. Then they kept ridding their bikes thru our campsite. Then I went out to dump my tank and they moved thier tent right next to my dump tank. Little girl was about to run in the road and I had to holler and let her know she was getting in the road (she looked younger than 1 1/2). One of the boys kept hanging on the volleyball net and I hollered at him to quit. I could go on and on, but I’m not. 10/10, I do not recommend these kind of campers by you BUT 10/10 would definitely recommend camping there! We enjoyed the kids going around trick or treating. The campsites were nice and cleaned and the bathrooms were very clean.
