Located conveniently in Burlington, Washington, the Jack and Helen Doyle Dog Park is a standout spot for local pet owners and travelers passing through the region. Known for its spacious, clean, and well-maintained grounds, this dog park provides a dog-friendly atmosphere with lush green grass, shady spots, and scenic views. Its fenced-off areas ensure dogs can roam off-leash safely and play to their hearts’ content.
What makes this Burlington dog park unique is its thoughtful amenities: there are separate spaces for small/elder dogs and larger dogs, ample shaded benches, a covered picnic table, and a bathroom just outside the fenced area for human convenience. For hydration, water fountains serve both dogs and their owners, while a hose is available for rinsing off pups. The park is equipped with multiple poop bag stations, trash bins, and fun features such as a playful hill and a tunnel for canine exploration. The welcoming community vibe and dog-friendly setup make it one of the best pet-friendly parks in Skagit County.
Nice park. A lot of ‘regulars’ come by here so can be somewhat cliquey at times but for the most park everyone else has been friendly. I’ve seen the park get pretty 💩-E at times because people won’t pick up after their dog 💩S which sucks. The picnic table is covered which is nice when it’s raining and there is a single bathroom located just outside the fenced area.
Amazing dog park I stumbled upon while passing through town. Clean, large, nice amenities.
Our pups had such a fun time here yesterday for our first time here. All the dog owners were nice and responsible, most dogs were sociable/well-behaved. One dog growled if any other dogs came near but other than that it felt safe. They have poop stations with bags inside the park as well as working water stations, and a hose outside of the fence to clean your dog off after. There are bathrooms for the humans as well.
A great, well-maintained dog park with lovely people and dogs!
Just the right size for our dog. There is a separate small/elder dog area next to the main open space. Plenty of grass and shade for pups to run and rest in.
For people, there’s plenty of benches scattered around, a shaded area to sit, extra poop bags, and a bathroom. Couldn’t ask for more!
This has just reopened as a dog park and they did a WONDERFUL job. There is a clean restroom, water fountains for both the pups and humans, a sink and water bottle filling fountain, a hose to rinse the pups off, a small dog area, a couple of shaded areas, plenty of poop bags and trash cans, several benches to sit, a fun hill for the dogs to play on (with a tunnel to run through underneath), and lots of beautiful, green grass. It’s clean and beautiful- I hope that it stays this way! This is our new favorite dog park.
